Mr Craik is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Surrey. He specialises in diagnosing and treating patients with hip and knee conditions.
He regularly treats patients with sports knee injuries, such as meniscal tears and ACL ruptures, as well as patients who have developed painful hip and knee arthritis. He performs joint injections, arthroscopic knee surgery (keyhole), ACL reconstructions, and total hip and knee replacements.
Mr Craik offers private consultations and surgical procedures at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey. He also practices in the NHS at Epsom and St Helier hospitals where he is the research lead for the orthopaedic department.

Mr Craik gained his Bachelors degree in medicine from the University of Bristol in 2006. After completing his specialist orthopaedic training in South West London he embarked on an Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia. During this time he further developed his subspeciality skills and experience in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, sports knee surgery and trauma. He is trained in computer navigated and robotic knee surgical techniques. He performs hip replacements via the muscle sparing direct anterior approach as well as the posterior approach.
Mr Craik is a substantive consultant at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and is the research lead for the orthopaedic department. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals, has presented his work internationally, and has been awarded numerous prizes for his research pursuits.

Self funding patients
Patients funding their own treatment will need to pay for any consultation or surgery. Initial consultations cost £230 with follow-up consultations costing £180. Treatment costs will vary depending on their complexity.

For patients with health insurance, please attend your consultation with your GP referral letter and your insurance authorisation code.
